Woodworkers Of East Texas Club
The Woodworkers of East Texas Club's purpose is to promote woodworking for active woodworkers and as a recreation hobby. Develop new skills and allow members to fellowship with others members to learn from their experiences.

Monthly meetings are the second Monday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Discovery Science Place Workshop, 308 N. Broadway Ave., Tyler.

The primary service project currently is assisting Discovery Science Place with some of its exhibits and helping maintain and upgrade the workshop tools. The club donates several woodworking related magazines to the Tyler Public Library for public access to help spread the word of woodworking.

Officers are Tom Canfield, president; Don Osada, vice president; Myron Friend, treasurer; Dotti Roberson, secretary; and Richard Odette, photographer.

For information contact Tom Canfield, 4824 Prestwick Lane, Tyler, 903-581-6259, or e-mail t.canfield@att.net or Dotti Roberson, 209 N. Jarvis St. Troup, 75789-1206, 903-842-1990 or e-mail jmdmrob@embarqmail.com.
