Elizabeth Blynn Austin
Elizabeth Blynn Austin is the daughter of Holly McIntire Austin and Jeff Austin III of Tyler. She is a sophomore communications major attending Southern Methodist University. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women where she served as Pledge Class president and was voted Best Pledge.
Miss Austin graduated from All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler. She served as president of the senior class. She was a member of the Junior Symphony League and received the Windsor Distinguished Service Award. She attended Camp Waldemar for girls and was voted “Best All Around Camper” her final year. She is a member of Christ Episcopal Church where she served as an acolyte.
In past Rose Festivals, Miss Austin has served as an attendant dresser in 2005 and a junior hostess for the Queen’s Tea.
