Marietta Cecile Scott
Miss Marietta Cecile Scott is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Henry Scott III of Austin. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Chester Wynne, Jr. and the niece of Mr. and Mrs. James Chester Wynne III and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Walters of Tyler. She attends the University of Texas at Austin where she is a sophomore Art History major and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Miss Scott is on the Development Committee for her sorority. She was named to the College of Liberal Arts “University Honors” High Honor Roll, is a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor fraternity and the University of Texas Water Ski Club team.
Miss Scott is a top 10% graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin. She was named a National Merit Commended Scholar, was a member of the National Honor Society, was an AISD Trustee Scholar, the Class of 2006 Secretary and Varsity Cheerleading Captain. She interned for State Senator Jane Nelson at the Capital this past summer.
Miss Scott was presented as a Junior Helping Hand Society Debutante in Austin.
